No Excuses November

re: Formation
Thanks for the encouragement, guys! It actually went very well - aside from me having to yell over some guys from another unit doing PT, my introduction was greeted with a loud ‘hooah!’ from the soldiers and commander. Too easy, indeed.
Just like I said, I got done around 10pm last night with everything. Came home, went directly to bed and woke up around 11am this morning, haha....

This girl has formation tomorrow morning.
Well. Sorta.
I’m not going to be in formation, but I’ll be speaking… introducing myself (as the acting FRG leader) to the 250+ soldiers who make up my husband’s rear detachment. A few months behind, but ah well. Better late than never, right? Command just asked me to do this a few weeks ago. Nervous.
Did I mention that we have a battalion event tomorrow also? So my day...

Promise I have not died.
FRG is eating my life at the moment. I’m sure the story will remain the same throughout the holidays.
My computer also hates me, so I’m getting her replaced in the coming weeks.
The fitness journey continues! When I’m not doing FRG stuff or sleeping, I’m working out.
I’ll be lurking on the Tumblr when the time permits… and now I’m off to yet...

Case of the Mondays
So glad it didn’t stop me from going to the gym this evening, though.
My day literally consisted of FRG training from 9am-4pm, with a 10-minute lunch break in the middle that was originally supposed to be an hour. Thanks for holding us over just to talk, knowing that traffic on post during the lunch hour is lovely.
Got back home after 4, mentally exhausted from all of the information...
