- be married before I was 30.
- spend the first year of our marriage apart because of deployment.
- be so passionate about living a healthy life. The gym is almost like a second home to me now.
- educate a friend about Army enlistment, MEPS, and deployments. (Her boyfriend is enlisting soon.)
Etc., etc.
I’m grateful for the good times I had this year and despite the circumstances, I’m also grateful for the really hard times. They forced me to see what I am truly ‘made of’. Im looking forward to having my husband back home soon so that we can actually begin to enjoy our marriage and each other. It seems that the deployment kinda put everything on hold this year. I have learned a lot about the Army, though… good and bad.
I haven’t made a new year resolution and I don’t plan to. Those resolutions usually vanish by mid Feb, right? Instead, I’ll continue to work toward the goals I set and remain consistent.
Time, fly.

You contacted your Congressman who contacted the commander downrange who contacted the rear commander who contacted the FRSA who contacted me? What a round about way to get in touch with the FRG when you could have just asked your husband. -_-
Exploring tumblr from my Kindle. Early and unexpected Christmas gift from the husband. Love him!
Perhaps a chapter or two (or three) of Mockingjay before I head to bed…
