Got a call from the husband this morning that lasted a little longer than 4 minutes. Poor guy isn’t feeling well at all. It’s so strange that we’re both under the weather at the same time, even though we’re miles and miles apart. (Insert cheesy line about how strong our bond/love is here.) Anyway, he sounded much worse than me and has a fever on top of everything. Hope he feels better soon.
I had to press my way to the gym this morning. My sinuses, nose, and throat had other plans, but like I always say “I’m glad I went.” Today was full body. Gonna be sore for the drive down south tomorrow.
Here’s what I did - everything is 3(sets) x 12(reps) unless noted. I went a bit lighter on the weights than usual, but still managed to tear some muscle fibers.
10-minute warmup
Chest/Back exercises were done in supersets.
Incline Bench (dumbbell)
Seated Rows
Bench Press (dumbbell)

Straight Arm Pull Down (3x10)

E-Z Bar Rows

Lower body exercises were done in a circuit.
Straight Leg Dead Lift (3x10)

Walking Lunges

Finished up with 20-minute cardio
Not bad at all considering the fact that I thought about calling in sick. Thank goodness for workout buddies. When I think of overeating on Thanksgiving, I’ll look back at what I’ve done and put the fork down, haha.
